ABSTRAK


Pendahuluan: Diabetes mellitus disebut sebagai Mother of Disease dikarenakan Diabetes mellitus adalah induk dari berbagai penyakit. Kepatuhan kontrol rutin merupakan aspek dalam penatalaksanaan Diabetes mellitus. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kepatuhan kontrol rutin adalah dengan adanya dukungan dari keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan kontrol rutin pada penderita Diabetes mellitus. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross- sectional. Jumlah responden 53 orang yang didapatkan dari Random Sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Variabel penelitian yaitu variabel independen dukungan keluarga dan variabel dependen kepatuhan kontrol rutin. Data diambil melalui penyebaran intrumen berupa kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan data sekunder dari puskesmas berupa frekuensi kunjungan ke puskesmas, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dengan signifikasi ? < 0,05. Hasil : Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga memiliki korelasi dengan kepatuhan pasien Diabetes mellitus melakukan kontrol rutin ke puskesmas (p=0,004). Kesimpulan : Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini memiliki hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan melakukan kontrol rutin. Hasil penelitian ini juga terdapat beberapa responden yang kurang patuh. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan melakukan penelitian terkait faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kepatuhan kontrol rutin penderita Diabetes mellitus.

ABSTRACT

Introduction : Diabetes Mellitus is known as the Mother of Disease because Dibetes mellitus is the mother of various diseases. The adherence to routine contol is an aspect of Diabetes mellitus management. One of the factors that can affects the adherence to routine control is an exposure of family support. This study aims to analyze the correlation between family support and the adherence to routine control of Diabetes mellitus sufferers. Method This study was an analytic correlational- cross sectional design. The respondents were 533 people that had been recruited by Random Sampling method with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The independent variable is family support and the dependent variable is the adherence to routine control. The data were collected using questionnaire of family support and the secondary data of visits from puskesmas, analyzed using chi-square test with the significance level of ? < 0,05. Result : The result of chi square test showed that family support has a correlation with the adherence to routine control of Diabetes mellitus sufferers at puskesmas (p=0,004). Conclusion: This study showed that family support has a correlation with the adherence to routine control. The study also showed that some of the respondents are not obedient. Future studies are needed to explore the other factors that may affect the adherence to routine control of Diabetes mellitus sufferers.
